Who Belongs on the Georgia Tech Mount Rushmore?

It’s become a popular point of debate, over the past year or so, to list the four names from a sport or team that would comprise the Mount Rushmore monument for that group. With LeBron James naming his Rushmore of the NBA (Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson and Oscar Robertson), it has become even more fashionable.

ESPN100 Hoops Recruit to Visit Georgia Tech

Although the college basketball season is still in full swing, with March Madness about to descend upon us, the time for recruiting never ends, especially for Georgia Tech, who will have a number of needs to fill in 2014-15. One of the ESPN100 recruits who remains uncommitted has Georgia Tech on his short list, and that’s 7-foot-2 center, Anas Osama Mahmoud.

Mahmoud, out of West Oaks Academy in Orlando, Fl., is one of the more well-known recruits in the nation who has still yet to decide on a school for next year.

Potential 5-Star Linebacker Roquan Smith Visits Georgia Tech

If there is one area in the 2015 recruiting class that Georgia Tech head coach Paul Johnson will probably need to focus on, it will more than likely be at linebacker. The Yellow Jackets already have some potential targets at the position, but this past weekend they were paid a visit by a potential 5-star prospect, Roquan Smith.

Georgia Tech Recruiting: An Early Look at 2015 Commits and Targets

It was a pretty successful 2014 for Georgia Tech recruiting, with 21 players signing Letters of Intent to come play on the Flats next season. Hoping to build on that success and to get more and more top line prospects looking towards Atlanta, head coach Paul Johnson has already started on 2015′s prospects.

The Yellow Jackets stocked themselves up at the offensive line position in 2014, as well as finding a bevvy of young defensive backs to help improve a pretty shaky pass defense.

Georges-Hunt Sinks Last-Second Three to Push Georgia Tech Over Boston College

For all the bad that has happened to Georgia Tech (13-12, 4-8 ACC) this season, at the very least there has been Daniel Miller. The big redshirt senior center was the Yellow Jackets’ main weapon, putting up 13 first-half points on the way to an 18-point game in a 74-71 win over the Boston College Eagles (6-18, 2-9 ACC).
